THE OFFICIAL TRANSFER DEADLINE DAY THREAD - AMALFITANO Signed
Jim white will be on the poppers all day.

Harry will be talking out of his car window.

And a load of inbred stoke fans will be jumping all over Dharmesh Sheth.

So let's keep all rumours and player sightings in here.

Believe the Falcao & Welbeck deals went through on that basis.
With Cleverley they have had to come out and say they 'believed' an agreement was in place between the two clubs.
Lots of pleasing that he was 'badly advised' and that was accepted. That wouldn't have been necessary if the deal sheet was in place

Sven - Jason Burt was saying earlier that if the PL receive a 'transfer form' before the deadline detailing the impending transfer, that would suffice until contracts are signed etc, which apparantly is what happened here. Could be bollocks though of course.

Presume it's been posted but I see Tom Cleverley has been allowed to join Villa on loan despite missing the deadline.
Was due to go but turned around when he heard Everton might bid.
Has been allowed because he was 'badly advised'.
Utter nonsense allowed because it suits Man U

Well, I suppose then Sam will consider himself lucky that his cunning plan to be sacked is going so swimmingly.

He must play a lot of chess, the crafty fat bastard.

Isn't it a bit risky of him to upgrade so many players this season, if all he wants is the sack?

What if Noble and Morrison or whoever else refuse to follow his instructions to run into each other, and start playing well and winning us games? He'll be well fucked then, probably getting bonuses instead of the sack.

Is there any solid proof that he is trying to get the sack, as I've heard this mentioned a few times on here, or is it all another tin foil hat conspiracy theory?

Re: THE OFFICIAL TRANSFER DEADLINE DAY THREAD - AMALFITANO Signed
The squad on paper is what you would expect for a lower-middle team in the Premier League but with a manager that has aspirations of a big pay-off he will not get the best use of the squad unless it is accidentally because of an injury, as in the Palace game, if Nolan had been fit Zarate would not have started. The Southampton game gave the Fat One chance to put right what had gone wrong against Palace. He ensured that Zarate spent most of the time in and around the centre-circle or our half, none of that finding space in the opposition half nonsense thank you very much. And just in case in the second half Zarate wanted to push forward he subbed him for of all people fucking Morrison. In one step he ensured that Noble and Morrison spent the half tripping over each other and there was now no link play to the cumbersome CFC up front.

You have to admit the Fat One is doing really well in engineering his sacking. The next 3 games should get him sorted hopefully and gone. He will play Noble against Hull with Song on the Bench quoting pre-season, fitness bollocks etc, he will also play Vaz Te and Cole. He may play Zarate or he may decide that if Jarvis is fit he could get away with that. He then has Liverpool and Man Utd so he can just quote how much both of them have spent and say it's no wonder little old West Ham got stuffed as we just cant compete with these sides. Well fucking Stoke managed it and Swansea managed it against the Manchester clubs, you fat cunt.

I feel a bit better now after that little rant.

For all his faults, Allardyce has managed to attract some decent quality to West Ham.

Now to see if he can get them to click.

I am hoping Sakho will be a McAvennie like signing and surprise us all. Or, more likely, he will be like all the rest, Savio MkII or Boogers, Maiga etc...

Not really worth arguing over but valencia stated himself that he started off as a left back.

Re: THE OFFICIAL TRANSFER DEADLINE DAY THREAD - AMALFITANO Signed
Looks like a really good squad on paper, but as others have said, it's hard to have any confidence that the walrus will get the best out of it. I would agree that the weakest area is the central striker role, but that has less to do with the choice of personnel and more to do with Dullardyce's tactics.

It's going to be interesting to see if he tries to accommodate the Holy Trinity of Song, Kouyate and Noble in the same side. Kouyate has already made himself undroppable, Song is a massive signing and Noble is ..... Noble. I wouldn't be surprised if he plays Kouyate at CB just in order to solve this problem. Somehow, Tomkins or Collins would be easier to drop than any of the Holy Trinity.

Up front, I can only hope that one of Valencia and Sakho does enough to displace CFC. There will be pressure to play Valencia because of the size of his fee, but I've got a good feeling about Sakho. I can see Valencia being used more out wide and having to be content with a fair bit of time on the bench.

As for attacking midfielder, as above, I can only hope either Zarate or Morrison does enough to raise the chances, albeit very slim, of the Fat One dropping Nolan.

Overall there's plenty to be hopeful about, but by God we need a new manager.

I think we got ourselves an interesting set of players for this season, be nice if they gel and score frequently and soon, feels better than last season.
